SmartCharts Overview

A SmartChart is a graphical representation of data; for example, a bar chart or line graph.

You can generate a SmartChart as needed to represent the data in a list view. The visual of a SmartChart can help you compare data more effectively. For example, you can generate a SmartChart that shows you how many building projects are occurring on the same street, or you can have a SmartChart that identifies all your open records and sorts them by type. If your agency has set permissions accordingly, you can customize your SmartCharts to most effectively represent the information that you need.

QuickQueries that affect the list contents also affect the values that display in the SmartChart. If you apply a different QuickQueries to a list, the SmartChart contents refresh to reflect the contents of the new list.
