Understanding Standard Choice Script Controls

Note: The use of Standard Choice Script Controls is a legacy scripting mechanism for customizing and interacting with the master scripts. Instead of using Standard Choice Script Controls, Accela recommends the use of the JavaScript Scripting Framework. It simplifies script development by using the standard JavaScript syntax without the restrictions of Standard Choice script controls.

You connect an event to a script through a comparably named Standard Choice script control. The script control calls functions from the global master script files, included in each script file, and passes parameters to these functions to control how the script interacts with the event (Standard Choice Script Control).
