SMS Adapter Requirements

Prior to configuring the SMS adapter, install these items.

• SMS text messaging adapter

  Accela provides a sample SMS Adapter, which you can access from the Civic Platform installation directory; for example, D:\AA19.1.0\main-dev\ws-sdk\SMSAdapter\war.

• Apache Tomcat application server

  Go to http://tomcat.apache.org/download-60.cgi. Download Tomcat and unzip the installation files to your local directory; for example, D:\apache-tomcat-6.0.29.

• JDK 6 or higher.

  Go to http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html. Download and install JDK 6 or higher.
